Job Summary
Directs and manages all food and beverage functions at Bahia Resort Hotel, including banquet and catering operations, audio visual services, culinary operations, stewarding, restaurant and bar, coffee shop and other outlets. Ensures world-class guest satisfaction by leading a well-trained team, achieving financial objectives, coordinating with Sales and Marketing to promote outlets, developing menus and beverage programs, setting budgets and forecasts, enforcing food safety standards, and mentoring F&B leadership. Collaborates with Executive Chef and General Manager to align service delivery with seasonal menus and brand standards, and oversees training initiatives and operational communications to sustain service excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 4 years of relevant experience and/or training
- RBS Certification
- San Diego County Food Handler certification upon hire
- Valid driver’s license
- Over 21 years of age
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
- Experience in budgeting and financial forecasting
- Experience with menu development, pricing, and promotions
- Leadership and staff development experience
- Knowledge of food safety standards and compliance
