Job Summary

Oversee fleet maintenance operations across Jersey City, Bronx, and Brooklyn, ensuring alignment of maintenance metrics, budget management, and preventive maintenance initiatives. Lead asset planning, fuel conservation, and vendor management while managing work schedules, projects, and assignments to maximize asset availability. Drive process improvement initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance with DOT, OSHA, and ANSI standards, and build strong relationships with Operations, Safety, Finance, and external stakeholders. Manage unionized labor and optimize parts inventories to demonstrate warranty cost savings. Align with annual fleet budget plans to ensure lowest total cost of ownership.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma
  • 7+ years of related experience
  • Track record on strategic fleet initiatives
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations
  • Knowledge of environmental requirements
  • Ability to manage and interface with unionized labor
  • Ability to track and control parts inventories
  • Ability to manage vendors
  • Ability to manage suppliers
  • Ability to demonstrate warranty cost savings
