Job Summary
Oversee Part 135 maintenance team and ensure FAA/EHS compliance while coordinating budgeting, scheduling, and vendor engagement for a fleet of aircraft. Maintain and update GOM/GMM, plan and assign work based on operational priorities, review maintenance invoices, and communicate with aircraft owners. Travel as needed and lead the team to achieve operational excellence in aviation maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- Current A&P License required
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management or related field; OR 7-10 years of Aircraft Maintenance and Inspection experience with a Part 135 operator
- Expert level knowledge of FAA regulations as it pertains to aircraft maintenance
- Advanced skills and knowledge of aircraft parts management
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office and applicable suite of products
- Previous experience scaling, growing, and maintaining of over 50 aircraft is desirable
- Familiarity with industry-specific software tools (e.g., fl3xx, CAMP, TRAXXALL) to streamline maintenance tracking, enhance scheduling accuracy, and ensure efficient fleet management
