Job Summary
Oversee consolidation of financial data across entities and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Draft all financial statement disclosures, lead audit working papers, and provide quarterly reporting for Board presentations. Develop and implement financial reporting policies, research accounting standards, and prepare memos on newly issued ASUs. Lead transition processes and onboarding for new acquisitions while handling ad hoc requests from brand teams and management. This newly created high-impact role supports Marquee Brands' outsized domestic and international growth through building structure and partnering across the company.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- BS Degree in accounting
- 8–10 years of accounting/financial reporting experience
- minimum of 5 years in public accounting
- Experience with consolidations of multiple entities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem solving and team work's skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects effectively
- Proactive in adopting and engaging with AI tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with distributed teams and directly with management
- Hands on and problem solving attitude
Desired Qualifications
- CPA highly preferred
- Global consolidations and foreign currency accounting preferred
- Operations experience preferred
