Director of Financial Planning and Analysis

Job Summary
Develop and maintain financial metrics, dashboards, and KPIs while reviewing budgets, forecasts, and operating results to identify trends and variances. Lead month-end closing procedures, coordinate with the Controller and operations teams, and manage Accounts Payable oversight to ensure accurate financial reporting. Analyze Reconstruction project profitability, job costing, and vendor cost trends to support strategic decision-making and improve margins. Partner with ownership and executive leadership to develop rolling forecasts, cash flow plans, and department-level targets. Ensure compliance with franchise accounting requirements, insurance audits, and business documentation for all entities. Evaluate current financial processes to recommend improvements for efficiency and data integrity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 7+ years accounting experience, with experience in financial planning and analysis and business analytics
- 2+ years supervisory or management experience
- Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, financial modeling, dashboards, financial reporting, etc.
- Thorough knowledge and demonstrated skills in financial reporting review, budgeting, forecasting, analytics, project profitability analysis, and management reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software and reporting tools (e.g. IES, QuickBooks online, Sage, other)
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to explain financial results and business trends to non-accounting leaders and management
- Full-time position working between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week minimum and more during large loss/storm events and month end close
