Job Summary
Oversee the financial aid department, supervise staff, develop policies to streamline processes, ensure compliance with all school and government regulations, work closely with staff to identify student needs and implement programs to meet those needs, and provide guidance on student grants, work-study programs, federal and private loans.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Director of Financial Aid or equivalent position desired
- Strong leadership skills
- Extensive understanding of the financial aid system, financial aid programs, and needs of students receiving it
- The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with students, staff, and parents
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Strong computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office, Colleague, Informer, and others
