Job Summary
Director of Finance responsible for strategic financial leadership and oversight of the firm’s financial performance. Provides budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and consolidated reporting; presents financial insights to executive leadership and the Board; ensures GAAP compliance and internal controls; collaborates with project managers to optimize invoicing and collections; oversees tax planning and regulatory compliance for multi-jurisdiction operations; leads Workday implementation and data continuity with legacy systems (Deltek) and supports SQL-based querying; requires a collaborative leadership style, integrity, and the ability to translate complex financial information into actionable business insights.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- MBA and/or CPA highly desirable
- Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible accounting/financial roles
- Experience with regulatory compliance and differing tax regulations in international business
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency with Excel; knowledge of SQL and Workday reporting preferred
- Experience with Workday financial system implementation
- Ability to lead and mentor others
- Hands-on knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting concepts
