Job Summary
Direct and oversee all financial aspects of The Hoxton Bengaluru City. Lead and manage the finance function for the new Bangalore hotel, ensuring strong financial management, accurate accounting records, robust internal controls, and high-quality management reporting. Responsibilities include balance sheets, P&L, cash management, budgeting and forecasting, owner and operations finance relationships, and delivering insightful performance metrics and benchmarking. The role requires developing and inspiring a high-caliber finance team, driving process improvements, ensuring adherence to Indian financial requirements, and supporting the General Manager with strategic planning and value opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hotel finance experience
- Ideally already in a Director of Finance role
- Strong knowledge of operating requirements from a financial and legal perspective on Indian financial requirements
- Technical skill with understanding of compliance requirements, best practice hotel operations, finance function set up and standard systems
- A balance between methodical/process-driven approach and flexibility to meet deadlines and solve problems
- A qualified accountant would be an advantage
