Director of Finance

Director of Finance at The Blackstone Hotel (Vinayaka Hospitality portfolio) is responsible for establishing, coordinating and administering all financial systems, internal controls and the hotel's capital plan. Will prepare and review budgets, forecasts, operating results, financial reports and tax returns in compliance with regulations, company, franchise and ownership requirements. Plays a key role as the financial manager of the hotel, overseeing short- and long-term planning and daily finance operations, developing the department's budget and objectives, and providing timely management reports. Participation in the Executive Committee, development of operating budgets, forecasting, P&L review, cost controls, wage/salary administration, and ensuring adherence to accounting policies and procedures. Requires a four-year degree (accounting preferred) or equivalent experience and five to ten years of related experience; location is Chicago, IL.
