Job Summary
Directs and oversees the finance and accounting operations to support CEO goals, including hands-on FP&A improvements, preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and projections, and management of two direct reports. Provides strategic insights to senior management to maximize revenue growth and minimize expenses, safeguards financial assets, recommends process improvements to reduce liabilities, and strengthens departmental procedures and staff development. Evaluates existing accounting and inventory systems, addressing weaknesses while ensuring accurate financial analysis, KPI reporting, and timely reporting. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting, 10+ years of progressive experience, experience with QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise, and strong managerial and communication skills. Local candidates in Marina Del Rey, CA, with an in-office (100% in-office; hybrid possible) arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a business-related field
- 10+ years of progressive experience
- Experience with QuickBooks (preferably Desktop Enterprise version)
- Strong collaborative, managerial skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Solid knowledge of COGS and inventory management (preferred)
- In-office working arrangement (100% in-office; possible hybrid considered)
- Local candidates
- Manufacturing and/or consumer products industry experience preferred
