Job Summary
Direct the sound financial management through planning, coordinating, and monitoring activities while serving as the senior finance leader providing expert guidance on financial matters. Develop short and long-term operating and capital plans, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and monitoring progress to achieve financial objectives. Oversee financial transactions and maintain strong controls to safeguard assets, while reviewing comprehensive financial analyses and feasibility studies to support informed decision-making. Partner with Compliance, Accounting, and Internal Audit to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, and participate in contracting processes for physicians, supply chain, and payers. Coordinate aspects of enterprise services with care site operations to ensure efficiency, educating leaders on healthcare finance principles and their impact on patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business/healthcare administration or related field from an accredited institution
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience communicating with various organizational levels
- Experience working with spreadsheet, word processing, and Internet programs
Desired Qualifications
- Master's in finance, accounting, business/healthcare administration or MBA
- CPA, CHFP or FHFMA
- Seven years of progressive financial experience
- Experience with and a working knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle operations, supply chain, payer contracting, and Medicare/Medicaid cost reports
