Job Summary
Directs the hotel’s financial operations and oversees accounting functions such as AR, AP, auditing, payroll, budgeting, forecasting, and cash handling. Prepares financial analyses and P&L statements, ensures regulatory compliance and tax reporting, coordinates audits, and supports management with timely financial data. Leads HR-related processes for the hotel and ensures proper documentation and reporting. Requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, 5+ years in financial management (hospitality preferred), strong accounting, analytical, and leadership skills, and proficiency with financial software and Excel. Flexible in scheduling to meet financial deadlines and management meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably within the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting
- Proficiency in financial software, accounting systems, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills for managing accounting staff and training management teams on fiscal responsibilities
