Director of Finance - Retail Field Finance

Job Summary
Create and provide monthly financial reporting while streamlining planning processes to reduce manual work. Lead the annual and inter-year budgeting process with the Retail Operations team, developing five-year strategic plans and analyzing industry trends for airport and retail sectors. Implement internal control procedures, generate CBA scenarios with HR and VP support, and utilize the TM1 planning system for accurate forecasting. Provide financial training to ensure the team understands key metrics and KPIs to drive performance. Manage and develop a team of three finance support staff as a strategic thought partner to the Senior VP of Retail. This role requires a finance-focused background with retail or airport industry experience and advanced TM1 knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with Finance focus
- solid financial background (accounting, financial analysis, financial reporting, month-end variance analysis)
- Ability to adjust and work effectively in a dynamic and changing environment
- Ability to communicate effectively and confidently across all levels of management
- Ability to manage team's workload through ambiguity and complexity
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Advanced knowledge of business analytics tools
- Advanced knowledge of ERP general ledger
- Previous experience leading and coaching a team
Desired Qualifications
- MBA
- Specific Financial and Operations experience in Retail/Airport industry
- Advanced knowledge of TM1 Planning Analytics
