Director of Finance

Directs the financial operations for the assigned hotel property, acting as the strategic financial business leader to align the property’s plans with brand strategy. Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling financial operations; ensuring asset security; maximizing ROI; and providing timely reporting and analysis of results and integrity of management information systems in a decentralized accounting environment. Core duties include leading monthly forecasts, operating and capital budgets, and business plans; preparing accurate monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP and USALI; developing and implementing local accounting controls to ensure SOX 404 compliance; building strong relationships with owners and executive leadership; managing staff performance and development; and partnering with hotel management to monitor variances, drive cost savings, productivity, and financial performance while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and contract requirements. English language fluency required; additional languages preferred. Qualifications emphasize a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, 10+ years of hotel accounting experience, and CPA or MBA preferred. The role is part of the hotels’ Executive Committee and requires leadership across accounting staff, operations, and ownership stakeholders.
