Job Summary
Director of Finance & Business Operations at OSARO who will serve as the financial backbone of the organization, partnering with the COO/CEO and leadership to drive forecasting, budgeting, cash management, reporting, HR operations, and growth across SaaS, RaaS, and CapEx revenue streams. Responsibilities include owning budgeting/forecasting, building financial models, monitoring cash flow and runways, producing management and board reporting, analyzing revenue and margins, coordinating headcount planning, supporting fundraising, managing external accounting and audits, leading monthly close, improving controls and efficiency, overseeing procurement and treasury, and coordinating payroll and benefits. HR operations ownership, payroll administration, onboarding/offboarding, recruitment support, compensation planning, and workforce planning are also included. The role requires strong leadership, financial pragmatism in a fast-paced startup, and familiarity with SaaS metrics, ARR/MRR tracking, contract analysis, and cross-functional partnering to enable scalable growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive finance experience
- 3+ years in a leadership role within a high-growth technology company
- Strong FP&A experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Experience supporting board reporting and executive leadership teams
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- Strong understanding of SaaS metrics and recurring revenue businesses
- Experience in robotics, automation, industrial technology, or enterprise software
- Knowledge of SaaS, Robotics-as-a-Service (RaaS), and capital equipment (CapEx) business models
