Job Summary
Drive financial strategy, multi-year planning, and organizational forecasting while leading federal grant compliance, reporting, and stewardship. Build and strengthen financial systems, controls, and scalable processes to support mission-driven growth. Oversee operations, HR administration, vendor management, and IT infrastructure while partnering with the CEO and Board to guide strategic priorities. Enhance financial transparency and reporting for leadership across this full-time hybrid role in Atlanta, GA. This position strengthens financial stewardship and operational excellence at Georgia CORE, a statewide nonprofit advancing cancer research access and health equity.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of nonprofit finance experience or experience with federal grant-funded organizations
- Hands-on federal grants administration and compliance experience
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
- Strategic mindset with strong execution capability
Desired Qualifications
- Background in nonprofit, healthcare, research, or academic environments preferred
- CPA or equivalent credential preferred
- Experience with QuickBooks Online and nonprofit financial systems preferred
