Job Summary
Director of Finance for Limelight Boulder, overseeing the hotel’s general accounting operations, internal controls, and GAAP-compliant financial reporting. Leads daily and long-range financial planning, treasury, cash flow, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and fixed assets; manages annual financial reporting to ownership and parent company; maintains SOPs for finance functions and ensures adherence to company policies. Partners with cross-functional teams and Aspen One accounting on treasury, tax, audits, and capital projects; responsible for forecasting working capital, maintaining a clean balance sheet, and driving process improvements. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 5+ years leading hotel finance/accounting; strong knowledge of hotel software, budgeting/forecasting, and advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills; capable of leadership, clear communication, and meeting deadlines in a dynamic hotel environment. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of experience leading hotel finance and accounting division
- Knowledge of GAAP
- Knowledge of hotel property management software, POS systems, and electronic time clock systems
- Budgeting, forecasting, and capital project accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to analyze and improve processes; cross-functional collaboration; strong communication and leadership
- Ability to work under deadline pressure and adapt to a changing market
