Job Summary
Directs and oversees the accounting department for Loews Coral Gables hotel, ensuring accurate financial reporting, internal controls, and adherence to company standards. Develops and delivers monthly/annual financial statements and forecasts, coordinates audits, and supports capital planning and budgeting. Leads staffing, training, scheduling, and performance management of accounting personnel; collaborates with management to provide ROI analyses, dashboards, and strategic financial guidance to drive hotel performance and compliance. Participates in executive committee discussions and ensures timely, accurate financial information for decision-making across the property.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting/Finance
- Four to six years progressive experience in managing Hospitality Accounting operations
- Proficiency with Windows, Lotus/Excel and MS-Office software
- Ability to assemble, analyze and present integrated financial data and reports
- Experience preparing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Knowledge of internal controls, audits and compliance with policies and regulations
