Job Summary
The Director of Finance is responsible for overseeing the preparation of accurate financial reports, managing the annual budget process, coordinating audits, and monitoring financial operations. This role requires strong management and leadership skills, and the ability to motivate teams towards achieving financial objectives. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting and have five years of relevant experience, particularly within an acute care hospital. Preferred candidates will have prior experience as a Director of Finance and may possess a CPA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Five (5) years of experience as an accounting manager in an acute care hospital
- Ability to effectively manage the activities and personnel of assigned areas
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret data and prepare concise, accurate reports
- Knowledge of current matters relating to healthcare business management
Desired Qualifications
- Director of Finance experience preferred
- CPA preferred
