Job Summary
Lead the annual budget, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes across Palmer and Pipersville operations while providing clear analysis of revenue, profit, and gross margin to identify risks and opportunities. Manage manufacturing finance oversight for standard costing, inventory, and variances, partnering with Operations and Engineering leadership to support pricing, sourcing, and growth decisions. Ensure accurate financial close, reporting, and compliance with IFRS and group requirements, while improving cash generation through disciplined working capital management. Guide capital investment proposals and develop the finance team to build capability and succession planning. Based onsite in Palmer, Massachusetts, with periodic travel to Pipersville and other locations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline
- At least 10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including significant hands-on manufacturing finance experience
- Proven experience leading a site, plant, business unit or comparable operational finance function
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, P&L management, cost accounting, inventory, working capital and internal controls
- Demonstrated ability to translate financial and operational data into clear recommendations and measurable business improvements
- Strong commercial judgment and the ability to influence and constructively challenge senior and cross-functional leaders
- Proven people leadership, coaching and team-development capability
- Strong executive communication, analytical and organizational skills
- Experience in a multi-site, global or matrixed organization
- Experience with ERP and financial reporting systems
- Must be onsite in Palmer, Massachusetts
- Must be available for periodic travel to the Pipersville, Pennsylvania operation and other IMI locations as business needs require
Desired Qualifications
- CPA, CMA, MBA or equivalent advanced qualification preferred
- Experience in life sciences, medical devices, analytical instrumentation or another regulated manufacturing environment is valued
