Job Summary
Lead all finance, accounting, payroll, tax, treasury, and regulatory compliance activities for H2O Innovation's Spain operations while overseeing the Chilean Entity. Ensure local statutory compliance, manage relationships with external auditors and government authorities, and deliver accurate financial reporting, budgets, and forecasts. Act as a trusted business partner to local management, drive process standardization and automation, and build a high-performing team with clear succession planning. Communicate risks and support strategic initiatives including integrations and system implementations. The role requires 7+ years of experience, fluency in English and Spanish, and knowledge of Spanish GAAP and IFRS.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, controlling, and/or audit
- Responsibility for month-end close
- Responsibility for statutory compliance
- Strong knowledge of Spanish GAAP
- Strong knowledge of Spanish tax and regulatory requirements
- Strong knowledge of statutory reporting
- Strong knowledge of local accounting obligations
- Experience in Chile or other European countries
- Good knowledge of IFRS
- Experience applying corporate accounting policies in a multinational environment
- Experience managing treasury operations
- Experience managing AP
