Job Summary
Director of Finance responsible for leading core accounting and finance operations in a fast-paced, high-scale e-commerce environment. Key duties include overseeing monthly/quarterly/annual close under US GAAP and SEC guidelines, delivering P&L and balance sheet analysis, managing Controllers team, overseeing U.S. and Israeli tax reporting and compliance (including sales tax), coordinating external audits, and partnering with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes. The role requires strong analytical skills, CPA credentials from a Big 4 firm, and extensive experience in high-volume ecommerce finance, with a focus on accuracy, IPO readiness, and effective cross-organizational collaboration in Tel Aviv (hybrid work).
Required Qualifications
- 9+ years of experience in finance
- CPA from a big-4 firm
- Strong analytical skills and attention to details
- Excellent communication skills, both orally and written
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, consolidations, and close processes
- Experience in high-scale e-commerce companies
- Experience with U.S. GAAP and SEC guidelines
- Extensive experience with U.S. and Israeli tax compliance
- Experience in payroll budgeting and workforce planning
- Ability to lead complex processes from conception to completion with minimal supervision
