Job Summary
Director of Finance role focusing on FP&A and financial reporting to support executive decision-making. Responsibilities include leading annual budgets, forecasts, long-range financial planning, monthly variance analysis, and developing insightful dashboards and KPIs. You will partner with the CFO and executives to shape financial strategy, support fundraising efforts with financial modeling and investor communications, and collaborate across Finance, Accounting, Legal, Engineering, and Technology. Mentoring junior finance team members and ensuring accuracy during monthly/quarterly closes and audits are key. Requirements include 3–5 years in FP&A, a Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting (MBA optional), strong financial modeling, experience with investor interactions and fundraising, and proficiency with Power BI/Tableau; QuickBooks experience preferred; CPA/CFA a plus. Startup, investment banking, Big-4 transaction services, private equity, or related corporate finance background is preferred. Oil/gas industry experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in FP&A or related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or related field; MBA optional
- Exceptional financial modeling skills
- Experience with investor interactions and fundraising processes
- Proficiency in Power BI and/or Tableau
- Experience with QuickBooks preferred
- CPA or CFA designation is a plus
- Background in start-up, investment bank, Big-4, private equity or related corporate finance role preferred
- Exceptional communication skills
