Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning for T-TEK and NPI. Partner with Presidents and operational leaders to analyze financial performance, develop key metrics, and drive strategic decision-making. Lead the finance team while managing day-to-day operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, cost accounting, and month-end close. Ensure GAAP compliance, maintain internal controls, and optimize financial systems to support business growth. This role requires 8+ years of manufacturing finance experience, with up to 25% travel to Montgomery, Alabama.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls
- Experience overseeing month-end and year-end close processes
- Experience with percentage-of-completion (POC) accounting and revenue recognition for project-based businesses
- Strong financial analysis and business partnering skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable recommendations
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and mentor accounting and finance teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, collaborative leadership style
- Ability to travel up to 25% to Montgomery, Alabama
Desired Qualifications
- CPA and/or CMA designation
- Experience in material handling, industrial equipment, automation, or engineered-to-order manufacturing environments
- Experience supporting multiple business units or operating companies
- Knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and project accounting
