Job Summary
Partner with the Executive Director to shape organizational strategy and long-term planning while providing strategic leadership and oversight of the Finance and Operations teams. Lead organizational budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and financial planning to develop systems that support informed decision-making. Oversee audits, funder reporting, compliance, insurance, contracts, and organizational risk management to strengthen financial processes and corporate infrastructure. Build strong relationships with leadership, the Board of Directors, auditors, financial institutions, and external partners while championing a collaborative, solutions-focused culture. This role supports continuous improvement across the organization within a Christian faith-based nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals experiencing homelessness, poverty, and addiction.
Required Qualifications
- Senior leadership experience in finance, operations, or corporate services within a complex organization
- Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and strategic financial planning
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate financial information into meaningful business insights
- A strategic mindset with the ability to balance long-term vision and operational excellence
- Active Christian faith
- A personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Willingness to sign and uphold our Statement of Faith
Desired Qualifications
- CPA, MBA, or other relevant financial designation
- Equivalent senior leadership experience (to CPA/MBA designation)
- Experience working within nonprofit, social services, or other values-driven organizations
