Job Summary
Director of Finance leads strategic financial analysis for the Wealth Management division, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting while partnering with the CFO and business-unit leaders. The role develops and refines financial strategy for the Wealth Sector, designs sector-specific KPIs, drives cost-effectiveness and operational improvements, and collaborates with Risk Management to navigate regulatory changes. Senior-level responsibilities include providing data-driven insights to senior leadership, communicating complex accounting implications in business terms, and ensuring data integrity across external and internal reporting. Ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting/Business (MBA preferred) with 5+ years in Banking/Financial Services and seeks to leverage analytical power and stakeholder influence to guide strategic decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- CPA or CFA designation highly desirable
- 5+ years of progressive finance experience within Banking or Financial Services; wealth management domain knowledge preferred
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills
