Job Summary

Lead and supervise accounting staff for accounts payable, receivable, billing, payroll, and general ledger activities while owning the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process. Ensure complete and accurate reconciliations of all balance-sheet and general-ledger accounts, prepare timely financial statements, and maintain audit-ready documentation for federal, state, Tribal, and commercial contracts. Execute financial strategy through budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, supporting pricing, proposals, and indirect cost rate agreements. Administer Deltek Costpoint, optimize finance processes, and partner with executive leadership and external auditors to drive sustainable growth and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • At least 10 years of progressively responsible finance and accounting experience
  • Substantial responsibility for general ledger accounting
  • Responsibility for financial reporting
  • Responsibility for close
  • Responsibility for reconciliations
  • Responsibility for staff oversight
  • Demonstrated Controller-level experience
  • Experience establishing accounting discipline
  • Experience establishing internal controls
  • Experience ensuring audit readiness

  • Advanced knowledge of Deltek Costpoint
  • Experience with paperless accounting and financial reporting systems
  • Strong knowledge of federal government contracting
