Job Summary
Lead the Finance, Accounting, and Grant Writing functions by supervising the Financial Controller, Financial Planning Manager, and Grant Writer/Coordinator. Oversee general ledger pre and post close meetings, monthly financial reviews, and external audits while managing organizational cash flow and forecasting. Analyze and present accurate financial reports to program Directors, the Finance Committee, and the Board of Directors. Review vendor and legal contracts to ensure compliance and financial best interests, then document and update finance policies and procedures. Collaborate with external partners, grantors, and funders to support strategic and operational objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school)
- Field of Study: Accounting or Finance
- 5 plus years of experience in supervisory and senior management roles
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in accounting or finance
- MBA
- CPA
- 5 plus years of experience in non-profit organization
