Job Summary
Director of Finance at The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa in Riverside, CA, advises the General Manager and executive team, balancing hands-on accounting with strategic leadership to ensure financial integrity, profitability, and compliance in a luxury full-service hospitality environment. The role leads long-term planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting; manages general ledger, payroll, AP/AR, and cash; strengthens internal controls and regulatory compliance; analyzes performance, drives cost control and revenue optimization, and mentors the finance team to support ownership and departmental goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 8–10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience in hospitality
- Strong knowledge of hotel financial systems, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- CPA preferred
