Job Summary
Lead the comprehensive month-end close review, ensuring accuracy and integrity in financial reporting. Evaluate and model robust business cases for new ventures and growth opportunities while driving the execution of key strategic financial initiatives. Oversee comprehensive budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure fiscal discipline. Manage large capital projects by partnering with department heads to provide financial insights, ensure budget compliance, and optimize ROI. This role supports organizational objectives within Ascension, a leading nonprofit Catholic health system reimagining healthcare for 97,000+ associates. Full-time days schedule with partial remote availability in Carmel, IN.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management
- Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- MBA or CPA
- Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible financial experience
- Proven track record of at least 3 years in a leadership or management capacity
