Job Summary
Strategic and hands-on Director leading the company’s finance and accounting functions, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, internal controls, and cross-functional partnerships. Responsible for building scalable FP&A infrastructure, developing robust financial models, delivering variance analyses and KPI dashboards, guiding pricing strategies and contract profitability, and leading a high-performing finance team. Requires senior leadership experience, deep expertise in ERP/netSuite, Power BI, and a strong ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights to support executive decision-making. In-office role based in San Diego, CA with initial full-time in-office schedule and ongoing in-office days.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 7+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting
- at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite)
- Advanced financial modeling and forecasting capabilities in Excel
- Strong understanding of service-based and recurring revenue business models
- Ability to translate complex financial data into clear insights and strategic recommendations
