Job Summary
Director of Field Placement responsible for serving as the primary contact for teacher certification program activities requiring supervised field experiences; coordinates and oversees field placement for practicum and student teaching, supervises and trains field supervisors, manages program information for all Field Placement activities, organizes orientations and meetings for student teachers, and fosters academic excellence in the classroom. Requires a Masters in Education or related field, 5+ years in higher education or K-12 administration, 5+ years as a classroom teacher, and proficiency with instructional technology; PDE State Teacher Certification and LEA/IHE partnerships experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- Masters in Education or a related field
