Job Summary
Director of Field Marketing role leading a door-to-door canvassing program. You will supervise and coordinate a team of canvassers, develop neighborhood-focused canvassing plans, provide training and mentorship on sales techniques and customer service, monitor activities for safety and policy compliance, conduct performance evaluations, and analyze campaign data to refine strategies. The position emphasizes leadership, strategic planning, teamwork, field-sales experience, community engagement, and the ability to manage multiple campaigns while working outdoors and on the road. Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills are essential, with emphasis on recruiting, training, and motivating a diverse field team to achieve outreach targets. This is a full-time, on-the-road leadership role offering a base salary plus department overrides and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in sales, marketing, or community outreach roles
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team
- Experience in door-to-door canvassing, telemarketing, or fundraising is highly desirable
- Excellent negotiation skills to address questions or concerns from community members
- Knowledge of customer service principles and sales techniques
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining high energy levels
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple teams or campaigns simultaneously
