Job Summary
Director overseeing fiber construction and project management in the Memphis market. Responsible for strategic oversight of all fiber network construction projects from design through completion, partnering with the Installation Supervisor to oversee the installation team’s operations, and driving safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Leads in-house construction crews and project managers, coordinates vendors and subcontractors, manages budgets and resources, ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and maintains regular stakeholder communications to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and scalable growth.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of construction experience
- At least 3 years in a supervisory or director-level role
- Experience in telecommunications or utility industries preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Proven ability to manage large-scale infrastructure projects
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with project management software and construction oversight tools
- Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
