Director of Fiber Construction and Project Management

Job Summary
Direct the Memphis-area fiber construction and project-management functions, including strategic planning, budgeting, and ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery of fiber-network expansion; lead in-house construction crews and PMs, oversee vendor/contractor management, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; partner with the Installation Supervisor to optimize operations and scale the network while maintaining a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or director-level role
- Proven expertise in managing large-scale infrastructure projects (fiber-optic network build-outs)
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, project management methodologies, and best practices
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with software/tools for project management and construction oversight
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
