Director of Federal Sales

Job Summary
Manage a team of sales representatives in federal and military segments, driving revenue growth, profitability, and positive impact on the company balance sheet. Collaborate with Strategic Partner Management, Marketing, IT, Purchasing, and Operations to meet customer and company objectives. Ensure CRM adoption, data integrity, pipeline accuracy, and consistent forecasting across the organization. Develop and maintain relationships with key federal agencies and strategic customers to secure long-term business growth. Execute the Federal Sales Plan, develop accurate forecasts, monitor pipeline health, and provide regular reporting on revenue performance and business risks. Coach the sales team, supervise annual territory plans, and partner with Customer Success to ensure timely quotations and outstanding service throughout the sales cycle. Monitor industry trends, federal funding priorities, and competitive activity to identify emerging opportunities. Requires a Bachelor's degree, five years of government sales experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. This role involves travel within the US, including overnight stays and air travel, to move samples and demonstrate products.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Minimum of five years of government sales experience
- proven work experience in sales management

- Demonstrated knowledge of federal procurement processes
