Director of Family Engagement and Enrollment

Job Summary
Establish and build relationships with families to support well-being and strong parent-child connections. Manage administration and monitoring of Head Start eligibility, recruitment, selection, enrollment, and attendance to ensure compliance with Performance Standards. Direct Enrollment/Retention and Family Engagement teams to maximize authorizations and meet enrollment goals while overseeing coaching, reflective supervision, and hiring for the Family Engagement team. Collaborate with program leaders to develop the Parent Handbook, implement procedures for service improvement, and support the agency's strategic plan through annual assessments and Board meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Education or related field
- At least 5 years of supervisory experience
- Knowledge of Head Start Standards or similar standards
- Knowledge of early childhood development, assessment and evaluative methods and tools
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate staff and facilitate staff development
- Ability to manage in a complex organizational structure
- Ability to manage in a high intensity environment
- Strong time management and leadership skills
- Ability to work in with culturally diverse families and low-income families
- Valid driver's license and liability insurance of $100,000/$300,000 on first day of employment
