Job Summary
Direct facilities maintenance operations for a single-unit acute community hospital, overseeing preventative and reactive repair of skilled trades including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Manage hiring, training, and supervision of staff while ensuring a safe, efficient environment aligned with Joint Commission, OSHA, and NFPA standards. Oversee construction projects and coordinate logistics for groundskeeping, laundry, food services, security, inventory, and concierge functions. Lead a team of professionals and management to support business performance within a recently modernized facility featuring new surgical suites and a state-of-the-art cancer center.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare facilities management
- 5 years of Management and Functional experience
- Strong knowledge of The Joint Commission, OSHA, NFPA, and other regulatory standards
- Experience managing capital projects and vendor relationships
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field preferred
- CHFM certification preferred or willingness to obtain
