Job Summary
Oversee maintenance, repair, and functionality of all hospital buildings, grounds, and utility systems, leading teams for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general operations including Environmental Services and Dietary. Ensure full compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, NFPA, OSHA, and state/local standards while maintaining documentation for surveys and implementing emergency preparedness protocols. Manage facilities staff, develop department budgets, and coordinate operations with clinical and administrative teams. Lead capital planning for facility improvements, oversee construction projects, and evaluate infrastructure needs for proposals. Monitor energy usage, implement sustainability strategies, and manage utilities efficiency audits. This role supports the planning and operation of the new free-standing psychiatric hospital at Permian Basin Behavioral Health Center.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-5+ years of progressive experience in facilities management
- Knowledge of hospital regulatory requirements
- Leadership and team management experience
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field
- Certifications such as CHFM, CHC, PE, or LEED
- Experience managing large capital improvement projects
