Job Summary

Serve as the CEO's strategic partner, executing organizational priorities and acting as a proxy in select meetings to ensure leadership follow-through. Manage the executive calendar, prepare briefings and reports for decision-making, and facilitate internal leadership meetings with agenda development and deliverable tracking. Lead cross-functional projects, establish timelines and accountability structures, and drive change management efforts across departments. Act as the primary liaison to the Board of Directors, coordinating meetings, preparing materials, maintaining governance records, and supporting onboarding for new board members. Monitor strategic priorities, identify risks, and escalate issues while ensuring alignment with regulatory and legal standards. Exercise independent judgment in managing competing priorities and supporting the execution of key initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience supporting senior executives
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, strategic coordination, or operations support
  • Strong understanding of board governance practices
  • Knowledge of California RCFE/Title 22 regulations
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to synthesize and present complex information clearly
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proven ability to exercise independent judgment, discretion, and sound decision-making
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, Zoom, and board management platforms
  • Ability to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 30 lbs
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel as necessary
  • Background check
  • Drug testing

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
  • Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or senior living environments
  • Knowledge of California RCFE/Title 22 regulations preferred
