Director of Execution Planning - Preconstruction

Job Summary
Model, promote, and enforce safety policies during pursuit and project start-up activities while driving rigorous quality planning to ensure scope and execution plans are complete. Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing preconstruction talent by building succession plans and establishing group reporting cadences with dashboards for executive insights. Own and govern preconstruction standard work including execution planning, constructability, and phase gate reviews to drive continuous improvement across operating entities. Lead a distributed organization by setting objectives, clarifying decision rights, and coaching team members to strengthen technical depth and leadership capability. Assess organizational structure and resource plans to implement efficiency improvements, manage departmental budgeting and forecasting, and escalate risks to resolve cross-functional issues impacting profit and schedule. Provide functional leadership to the Senior Vice President on annual plans and preconstruction capability while ensuring a disciplined handoff from estimating to operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 10+ years of construction industry experience such as estimating, project controls, project planning, and/or construction management (renewables preferred)
- Demonstrated leadership across multiple projects/programs
- Demonstrated leadership experience building and leading teams and influencing executive, cross-functional stakeholders in a matrix environment
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Take reasonable care of your own and others' health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward the Company's Zero Injury principles

Desired Qualifications
- Previous solar construction experience preferred
