Job Summary
Directs and manages all aspects of Event Operations, including event services, banquet operations, and event technology; oversees a team of managers and staff; drives revenue through upselling during events while controlling costs; ensures guest and employee satisfaction and financial performance of the Event Operations Department; oversees budgeting, strategic planning, regulatory compliance, safety training, and coordination with culinary and HR teams to meet client objectives and deliver exceptional service during meetings, conferences, and conventions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years experience in the event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area
