Job Summary
Directs and oversees all event operations, including banquet and event technology services, with staff that includes Senior Banquet Managers, Banquet Managers, Senior Event Service Managers, Event Service Managers, and Event Technology/Operations teams. Drives revenue through up-selling during events while managing costs to maximize department profitability. Ensures high levels of guest and employee satisfaction, maintains certifications and safety standards, and collaborates with culinary, HR, and property stakeholders to execute events, budgets, and SOPs. Provides leadership for event operations planning, budgeting, quality service delivery, and adherence to corporate initiatives and promotions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in the event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area.
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years experience in the event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area.
