Job Summary
Directs and optimizes event operations for banquets and events, leading the event operations team including Senior Banquet Managers and Event Service Managers; partners with culinary, HR, and property teams to ensure service excellence, safety, and compliance. Drives revenue through up-selling during events while maintaining budgeted costs, ensures guest and employee satisfaction, oversees budgets and financial performance of the Event Operations Department, and manages staff certifications and training. Coordinates event logistics, space and equipment maintenance, and adherence to SOPs/LSOPs, with a focus on delivering high-quality hospitality for meetings, conferences, and conventions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area
