Job Summary
Implement the university's strategic plan for Esports, managing all operations, productions, and facilities for collegiate and intramural events. Design annual student and community programming while overseeing the departmental budget, revenue generation, and scholarship distribution. Lead marketing initiatives, brand development, and partnership efforts with sponsors, publishers, and industry organizations. Hire, train, and supervise staff and work study students, while coordinating initiatives with faculty and university leadership. Liaise with collegiate conferences to oversee player recruitment, competition schedules, and coaching support. Advise and mentor students, maintain their academic records, and support curriculum development for the Esports track.
Required Qualifications
- Communication or Public Relations (PR) degree
- Experience with ESports curriculum development
- Understanding of collegiate ESports governing operations
- Must have successfully managed operations and productions of an Esports collegiate event
- Software knowledge of Blackmagic Design (Audio/Visual) integration, live streaming, and broadcast
- Black Design and DaVinci Resolve software
- Professional video editing
- Color correction
- Visual effects (VFX)
