Job Summary

Oversee daily operations of maintenance, housekeeping, laundry, building systems, grounds, and environmental services at Hillcrest Silver Ridge. Develop and manage processes for upkeep, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems while responding to requests and solving special concerns. Lead the environmental services team through hiring, training, performance management, and scheduling, ensuring compliance with company standards, survey expectations, and OSHA regulations. Manage department resources including budgeting, payroll, purchasing, and cost control. Refurbish apartments post-move-out and maintain a safe, compliant environment for residents, families, and staff.

Required Qualifications

  • At least one year of experience with HVAC and PTAC units
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English
  • Must be able to independently lift up to 75 pounds
  • Must be able to perform repetitive sitting, bending, standing, walking, climbing, reaching, and movement as needed
  • Must possess strength and stamina to perform physically strenuous activities in all weather conditions
  • Must be willing to work in confined spaces and on rooftops as needed
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to utilize technology, tools, equipment, and resources efficiently and effectively

Desired Qualifications

  • At least one year of experience with Life Safety Code and maintenance procedures
  • HVAC certification
  • Additional maintenance, facilities, electrical, plumbing, safety, or related training
  • Experience leading maintenance, housekeeping, laundry, environmental services, or facilities team members
  • Ability to manage department workflow, priorities, schedules, and resources
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond quickly to building or resident needs
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety, compliance, and quality
  • Ability to remain calm, flexible, and professional in stressful or changing situations
  • Comfort using technology, systems, and resources efficiently and effectively
