Job Summary
Lead a goal-oriented hospital housekeeping department to create an effective, productive, and rewarding team environment. Provide leadership that supports morale, passion, quality, and respect while demonstrating continuous ability to maintain and improve customer and patient satisfaction. Perform daily inspections and assessments to coach and counsel team members, then collaborate with department, facility, and company leadership to achieve goals. Analyze data to make adjustments that meet facility, budget, and compliance goals, while executing and monitoring quality control systems and budgets. Drive compliance with health, safety, and industry regulatory agencies. Manage team member recruiting, training, development, and assignments, ensuring the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization. Work a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years managing salaried and hourly employees
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be willing to relocate for promotion opportunities
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in languages other than English, especially Spanish
- Familiarity with OSHA, The Joint Commission, and other regulatory requirements
