Job Summary

Lead engineering teams through coaching, mentorship, and performance management while developing talent for succession planning. Define and execute technical roadmaps aligned with enterprise strategy, partnering with Product, Architecture, Data Science, and Security to deliver secure, scalable, cloud-native AI-enabled analytics applications. Establish engineering standards, drive adoption of modern practices including AI-DLC, DevSecOps, and MLOps, and champion responsible AI governance. Lead technical risk assessment, resource planning, and resolution of complex challenges across multiple teams. Communicate engineering strategy and outcomes to executive leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • 7 or more years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated success leading engineering organizations within a matrixed environment and aligning technical strategy with business objectives
  • Experience building, scaling, and leading software engineering teams delivering enterprise SaaS, cloud-native, AI-enabled, or analytics applications
  • Experience developing and executing technical roadmaps aligned with product strategy and organizational priorities
  • Experience delivering enterprise-scale solutions on Microsoft Azure or other public cloud platforms
  • Strong understanding of modern software architecture, distributed systems, APIs, microservices, cloud-native engineering, and platform engineering practices
  • Experience partnering with Product Management, Architecture, Data Science, Data Engineering, and Security teams to deliver AI-enabled products and data-driven solutions

  • Experience implementing modern engineering practices including Agile, AI Development Lifecycle (AI-DLC), DevSecOps, MLOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, observability, and automated testing
  • Experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, generative AI, large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), intelligent automation, or analytics platforms
  • Experience with modern data and AI technologies such as Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, lakehouse architectures, vector databases, or similar platforms
  • Experience in healthcare, healthcare analytics, SaaS, or other regulated industries
  • Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, coaching, organizational development, and strategic planning skills
