Job Summary
Director of Engineering responsible for leading the project engineers and discipline leads to deliver quality engineering work within budget and schedule. Oversees resource provisioning, removes obstacles, develops execution strategies to meet goals, leads weekly engineering meetings, and prepares engineering proposals. Ensures adherence to Company SOPs, transitions awarded projects from proposal to startup, and supports recruitment efforts. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Professional Engineer license, and 10+ years of onshore upstream or midstream facility experience; experience in design engineering consulting is a plus. Work from home 2 days a week and half-day Friday, with the primary location in Houston, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer
- Minimum 10+ years of onshore upstream or midstream facility experience
- Well-developed computer skills including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Projects)
- Experience in design engineering consulting is a plus
