Job Summary
Director of Engineering – Shopify & ERP (NetSuite) to lead the strategy, architecture, and execution of critical eCommerce and ERP technology initiatives. Own engineering strategy, roadmap, and execution across Shopify and NetSuite, drive scalable integrations, and partner with Product, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to translate requirements into technology solutions. Lead engineering teams through modernization and digital transformation, oversee integrations between Shopify, NetSuite, middleware, payment systems, OMS, WMS, and third-party platforms, ensure performance, security, and data integrity, establish SDLC governance and technical standards, mentor teams, and manage vendor relationships and external partners. Responsibilities emphasize architecture, platform improvements, and driving business-critical technology initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years in engineering leadership roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Shopify and NetSuite ecosystems
- Experience leading enterprise-scale integrations and digital commerce platforms
- Deep understanding of APIs, middleware, system integrations, and cloud-based architectures
- Experience managing and scaling engineering teams
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Proven experience driving engineering roadmaps and delivering business-critical technology initiatives
